We recently had a group of four sudanese christians come to our local congregation and talk to us as representatives of the episcopal church(not the mainstream episcopal church) that is living and thriving in southern sudan. They are currently living under persecution from arab muslims; who apparently also are persecuting the african muslims. Their regions infrastructure has been destroyed by the govt and many villages have been razed to the ground, and these men come asking for support. Support to back down their persecutors? support to build up their villages again? NO!! These men cam asking for support in their ministry to the african muslims and in the taking of the gospel to surrounding nations. They have little clean water, little food, and are under constant threat, yet these people think of the great commission and the charge of Christ. Oh, that I might be more conformed to Him. This is their website if anyone is interested in supporting them: www.givetosudan.orgIf anyone wants a prayer from their CD gimme a email and i'll send it to ya so you can hear these christian's hearts
