I wouldn't say either "volunteered" or sought for their positions ... they both sort of wound up there out of some sort of jail or similar bondage.Only God put them there for that purpose.So, it wouldn't be a good example of "seeking publice office".Now that this is bumped, I'm sure you'll get more answers.Bless you kristi. :-D
