To tell you the truth brother we are privileged to be able to even buy books and have them in our libraries, we have so many books that we can access on the internet and print off our printers. Aw, I forgot to tell you Dom, that 6 years ago, I called all my friends and told them to get out and buy as many Classic books as they could because I had the feeling they'd become scarce there.Anyhow, since then, we can't even order some at the big Lifeway chain, so my husband goes over to Books-a-million and orders what ever he wants.Too bad huh ? Well, just now I did a search on Christian Classic Bookstore and this site by Gary Zeolla came up, who translated the Analytical Literal Translation of the N.T. (which don't tell anyone, but I like it - it's in e-sword :)And anyways, he had this link Classic BooksThis Whitaker House Publishers used to carry tons of classics, but I'd have to call them again, because they said years ago to go to Anchor but I can't find Anchor anymore.

Gurnall's tome will keep you busy for over a year with your regular Bible reading.I have about 10 or 15 jewels that will take me the next two or three years to really digest (Nee, Bunyon, Spurgeon, Comfort, Murray, Rice, Bounds). Try finding any books on evangelism in a typical Christian book store. I went to one a few weeks ago and there wasn't even a section on evangelism. Nada, zip! ZERO. But the self help and prophecy section was very large!Doug

Good stuff! I cherish my copy of A Christian in Complete Armour by William Gurnall! It is definitely one of the most life-changing books that I have in my library. Both Pilgrim's Progress and Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners by John Bunyan are wonderful too. I would also recommend The Autobiography of Charles Finney, No Compromise: The Autobiography of Keith Green, The Cross and the Switchblade by David Wilkerson, and any book by Leonard Ravenhill, T.
