What happened to them ?
https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=8838&forum=16&start=10&11Hi Hope, I hope your hope if NOT deferred because of the newsletter ... if ya look at the last post on this link, I think you'll understand.I'd rather call you Hope if you don't mind, that verse is one the Lord gave me when all Hope was gone some years ago, but gave me "the joy of the Lord is my strength" in it's place since.Just a personal thing with that verse, because I "did" get a heart condition medically from it.So I hope your hope is restored :-)God BLESS.
MeAgain,Thank you for responding to me, where as your the only one that did and i pm-ed and email-ed others but as of yet, iv'e heard nothing. As for being hopefeferred, it's 24/7 for the rest of my life, and i'm 48 years old tommorrow(sunday 4-9-6). I suffer a great deal in my heart. I have been for years now and it will be this way till i die. I'm deeply wounded. As for your link to gregs quote, i believe he wrote that back in Febuary, this is April. I know he's very very busy. It's just that i see so much being added and updated on his incredile and beautifull and rich site, yet the old paths newsletter, that once was the talk of this site is now what seems to be all but forgotten in the old paths. Please note that i mean no disrespect to the administrator and that i speak with all humility and love. I truly just miss the old paths newsletter. :-(
Hello hopedeferred,Would be* one of those 'others' and my apologies, it was in the back of my mind and just got lost in the shuffle. Here is an excerpt and a link;but where is the old paths news letter for the last 2 months and for this month. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Greg responded;Brother I have mentioned it briefly in other places. I am going to be re-doing the old paths publication and it will be turning into a bi-monthly (every 2 month) publication. It will be much longer and with a whole new look, still it will be offered in pdf and given out freely for printing and sharing. But it will appear more like a magazine. thanks for the comments.New SermonIndex Frontpage DesignIt is heart warming to hear how much this is and has been appreciated, tend to get quite a few emails and other correspondence asking about it's whereabouts. Quite interesting also the perception oftentimes... to put it one way, you might be surprised to find just how much this site is truly operating under a reliance on the Holy Spirit and sustained by Him with prayer. The newsletter is strictly "Greg's" in pulling it all together and in presentation. So hopedeferred, to use your wonderful member name in conjunction with another verse by similarity if I may, and without stretching it too far;though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Hab 2:3 Please keep Greg and SI in prayer folks.... and the Moderators as well.*Edit~ "Could be", had you mixed up with someone else who had recently inquired.
Brother crsschk,I was moved by your kind and sensative spirit in your response to me. It's not often i can say that either. I'm gratefull to you Sir! Through out your response i was amazed at your demeaner in how the Holy Spirit seemed to have his way with you at every stroke of the keyboard. Thank you Sir for taking time out to explain in detail what i wanted to know. I so look forward to seeing the old paths newsletter again, but there going to be longer and twice a month? My goodness, how can you improve something thats already great? Now with great antisipation i look forward to seeing them again. I also want to thank you for encouraging this ole man with scripture. To you and greg, forgive me if i'm frustrating you in this matter or if i've upset either you, i don't mean to.To Greg . . Thank you Sir for all you do with your website/Ministry. God Bless you all
Well from one 'ole man' to another, thank you!I truly do not think there is any frustration whatsoever, perhaps on Greg's part in just finding the time to pull this altogether, I do know he has been quite busy lately. But to hear the desire for this from so many ...What the Lord might have in store by the delay here...The Lord richly bless you brother.
