HEART, MERCY AND LOVE - the 'FRUIT' of the Spirit, have all been threads here.I've seen posts on these since I've been here, but now someone needs ALL of these and we need to all step up to the plate here. Please see it in your heart to 'post' your love, support and acknowledgement here. One who has walked among us needs prayer desperately. Please see it in your heart to read this and then pray. I met him here, when you all did and know little more than what he's written on this forum and the prayer request that I just received. He wrote this thread -A SHEPHERDAlso -"That I may Know Him"Please read the first Post on page 3 of the "That I May Know Him" thread, that tells the story about #4 and starts with - Quote --- "Hi all,Our two youngest daughters and their families were here today after church. Number 4 & 5 of our seven children. #4 is due any hour, will be her forth and lets see :-) our 14th grandchild."Now here is the Prayer request to all of us here .........On way to hospital, baby, her liver is not working. We need a healing from the Lord of Lord's. Please Pray,Thank YoupastorfrinThis is #4's [daughter's] baby that she just had last week.I add one of his other posts here...Pastor wrote: My wife and I were reminiscing last night about when we arrived at our first home missions work. You will enjoy this. We were at our first pastorate and the call to missions would not go away. So I approached the district about the missions field. By this time we were entering our fifth year and our seventh child had arrived. The district laughed at me something about having too many dependents. Can you Imagine. So much for missions. Now we had been at this work for five years, it was a record, longest stay for a pastor at this church. Kind of sad really, one would have to be there to understand. I received a phone call from a brother in the Lord who had a small group of people interested in starting a new work. Would I pray about it. So I did, and to make it short, Our Arrival in Egypt. One day many years ago a pastor, his wife, and their seven children arrived at their new parsonage. It had no windows or doors, birds were nesting in the ceiling, it sat next to a dairy farm, and the walls, ceiling and floors were covered with flies. My wife looked at me and said looks like the Lord has answered your prayers. I had told the Lord I would live in a chicken coop to serve in missions. We were mistakenly a week early, and the people working on the house began to freak as the nine of us stood there in amazement. The children made themselves right at home and the youngest, a son who was just walking began to eat the raisins, ie. flies, to our horror off the floor. We got the windows and one door installed and a tarp over the other and in exhaustion all collasped into bed. Now this house was a old house trailer with a house built over it, thus making the walls about twenty inches wide. There was a six inch gap between the outside and inside walls. Any thing under the house could come into the house through the gap between the walls. We all feel asleep to the sound of baby birds singing in the ceilings. Oh what bliss. Then we awoke to a blood curdling cry from our oldest, we run in her room and shes screaming, get them off me, get them off me, we turn on the light and the bed, the ceiling, and the walls are covered with Tree Frogs. My wife looks at me and screams, you have led us into Egypt. Then the family of Skunks introduced themselves. What a night to remember. Last night we laughed until we cried. That night we all just cried.HE IS FAITHFUL WHO PROMISSEDLove you allJust a country preacherpastorfrin

I will be praying for our dear brother, the baby and the family. I pray right now for the PEACE that passes all understanding. That the the Great Comforter will be with them and for a complete healing of the liver. I've experienced that Peace in the middle of my own storm when my baby was facing death. It was the voice of God that said "Not a hair on his head will be harmed." It was that still small voiced that brought Peace to my soul. I pray for the same Peace to be with my brother and his entire family.

I think of the passage:And they brought young children to Him, that He should touch them: and His disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God' (Mark 10:13-14).I pray the Lord will 'touch' this child and virtue would bring healing. May the Lord grant it according to His will.

Thank You Lord!!!! Our God is so wonderful....her momma cried. We all criedand i cried as i prayed. I had tears in my eye's as i read the fantastic news. As a parent to very young children it hits you hard when you find a young child is suffering. The baby was on my heart the day i posted i was praying. She came on my heart when we were out in the car and i said to God i didn't know what the situation was at that time but i really prayed he would touch the child and i could sense as i prayed He was with her. Oh thank you Jesus you have healed her and she is back at home and with her mum. Her mum, my heart went out for her also. Praise God for her faith, i thank the Lord for her, may God bless her and her family, Amen!
