I was reading a part of a book last night written by Eric & Leslie Ludy. I thought I'd share these parts with you all (I added the scriptures). This is the kind of strength that changes the world."Do not let your adornment be merely outward... rather let it be the hidden person of the heart." - 1 Peter 3:3-4TENSILE STRENGTHThe strength of rope is measured by the term tensile strength. Great weights are tied to the rope under stress. The greater the ability of the rope to endure weight and combative force, the stronger the tensile rating.The moments you are challenged to be either selfish or selfless with a situation, the moments you are greeted with an opportunity to take an easier, less-noble road or a harder, more Christlike road -- these are tensile-strength opportunities. These are the moments that can either make you great or make you a schmuck. But then remember, it's not just doing the right thing, but doing it with the right attitude."Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
