Know what i mean brothers? This christian walk is not for the feeble and faint hearted, coward or unbelieving. What the American church, and church in general needs is some Bloody Elijas! People who dont Care for their lives, dont care for christian ease! I know i will step on some toes(and do so as a general rule),but christian Tee-toteling is lame to the extreme! We fear to put on the Full Metal Jacket of Faith and Storm Troop Hell! Why? Exactly that, because we are afraid of what people will say about us. "Oh brother so and so is sooooo extreme" "I dont like it" "Ya, my belly is starting to ache!". Fear is for Wimps! God called us to be uncompromising SOLDIERS! What have we today? Cowards afraid to stand out and proclaim who and what they believe! (AT least thats what we have here. Im not sure what its like in the US). Jesus has definitely provided for a complete set of ARMOR(notice speedos are'nt included). ARMOR IS APROPRIATE FOR BATTLE! Battle against what? Hell and its ways. Jesus said "I bring a sword". DIVISION. PERSECUTION.PAIN. Somewhere, our Cruise ship is gonna have to turn around. Lets get to our Masters business and go to battle!

Amen brother. The Holy Spirit quickened this verse to me yesterday and it's terrifying. This fear of men has to be broken by the blood of Jesus. Revelations 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."John 12:43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. This is the root cause of the fear of men, Lord God release us from this bondage that grieves your Spirit. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses as stated in Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."May we cry out to the Lord until He answers our petition. Luke 11:13 "If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"I pray that this would be cry of our heart until the power of the Holy Spirit comes into our lives. As this begins to happen, it's going to make us very unpopular people but I thank God that I fear Him and love Him more than the praises of men. May the Gospel go forth in power and under the authority of your spirit.Blessings to you brother...

Good... I thought this was gonna be about the movie Full Metal Jacket.Someone suggested to me that I watch the recent movie "Jarhead", which is about a Marine unit that served in Gulf War I... which I was a Marine and served in Gulf War I. What a mistake renting that movie was. It was a filthy, vile and wicked movie and my wife and I watched about 45 minutes of it and shut it off. If our unit acted anything like the unit depicted in the movie we would have been locked up in the brig and court marshalled. So I warn everyone here... dont watch this movie. The only thing realistic about it was that the Marines did serve in that war. Other than that, it's someone's fantasy of what it was like... and they probably were not there.NOW... if y'all wanna see a movie that is a great movie about what it means to be a true warrior (spiritual or otherwise), I can think of 4 movies I highly recommend: Braveheart, The Patriot, Gods and Generals, & Gettysburg. I've used all 4 as illustrations in my teachings on being a spiritual warrior.Krispy

Ya i see Hollywood is really smearing the US Military...(hollywood is full of liberals). I was'nt impressed with "The Three Kings". Smearing those who were in Iraq. I know the Military is strict. UCMJ. Full Metal Jacket too was a brainwash against the Military. Was just thinking today we in the church need some military discipline. Would'nt hurt...God Bless brother!
