SAD CONDITION OF THE CHURCH.

Hi DaveAbreu1,Not a popular subject here as you can probably see by all the enthusiastic post made on your thread.Are we Tired?From What? It can not be from doing the work of the Lord.Maybe, just maybe the church is tired from partying with the world. Or maybe from staying uplate, involved in endless post, dicussing how to play church, or who has the best bless me club.How about movies, or maybe dancing in the church.Maybe golf makes one tired, or should we boycottSUVs, did Jesus go to hell? is eternal reallyeternal? what bible is the right one? is the church going to be raptured pre., mid., or post?Etc. etc. etc. endless questions that mean nothing compared to what the church has been called to do, and the fact of endless torment in hell for those we have ignored, while we have been busy getting all these important topics discussed.Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into allthe world, and preach the gospel to every creature.Notice: He sent us into the world, He did not tell us to attract the world into the church.The church system fell for a lie from the pit.The lie, we must make our churches appealing to the world, thats how we can draw them in, so we did, and what do we have now? I beleive the reason for our sad condition is mostly because of the false foundations that have been laid by the modern, western church. We've been sold a bill of goods. "Come to Jesus and He'll heal you, He'll make you rich, get a better job, beautiful wife.. etc." There have been many false converts due to this sales pitch. It is rotten to the core!!! The only reason we should serve Jesus is becasue He is worthy!! We are all born sinners... on our way to Hell. We are born into a nature that is in controversey with the creator. We all deserve Hell, but He is so merciful. He has mercy, upon mercy, upon mercy for those who will turn to Him. By His incredible grace and love He saves us from our sin and makes us brand new! When we relize who we are and what He has done for us we must tell the others around us who are seperated from Him. He desires to have them!! We can only truly understand His mercy and love when we relize how rotten we are and the punishment we all deserve!We need to take back what the enemy thinks is his. We need to die so that Jesus can be glorified through us. Many are not willing to do this! They want the world and Jesus too. But I hear His cry "do you love Me more than these?"What is holding us back from letting Him use us?! Is it a job, relationship, our is it just you?? We like our personality, we think we are pretty clever... pretty smart. We think that people will just be drawn to our "magnetic personality" and then we can share the gospel with them. NO!!! Die!! Die to yourself. Let Jesus have you! Then HE can reach this dying generation through you!! This is a desperate hour and we have to become a desperate people. Desperate enough to DIE for HIM. He died for us and deserves NOTHING LESS!

My Brothers and Sisters in Christ! I have good news for you. The Bride of Jesus Christ, His Church is alive and well. Indeed, the enemy has tried to prevail against the church of Jesus Christ,by deceiving and luring people with itching ears to hear a gospel or philosophy that fits their selfish desires. These churches are liken to a business where numbers and $$$ are the most important thing to the board. Souls lost because the preachers don't contend for the faith and teach what Christ commanded, are not important to those preachers. One day at the judgement seat, they will ahve to answer for all those souls they misled to an eternal hell. Sadly, these so called churches are led by preachers and deacons claiming to be holy, but living a sinful life. You see, if you claim to be holy and you sin, you're nothing but a holy sinner. You're a hypocrit! God is and requires true holiness (Heb 12:14). Confessing a few sins and then continuing to sin again and again doesn't make you holy. (Josh 24) God will not forgive your sin if you keep on sinning. Sitting in a church pew, on the board, being nice, etc. won't make you holy. (How to be holy is another topic for another day)Well, out of many of these denominations, some have said there will be a super merger of churches...an ecumenical church. They forget the basic truth that the church of the Living God is not divide, but it is already "one" - but there two divisions. They aren't liberal or conservative, Catholic or Protestant. They are:1. THE CHURCH militant and triumphant; The church that is still at war with Satan & SIN. 2. and the church that has laid down her weapons.God's word say's He's going to have a people without spot or wrinkle; but that is up to you. He can't do the work unless you provide the vessel. One day there is going to be a gathering under the Blessed name of Jesus Christ in the New Jerusalem. Pray fervently that you find a church that will lead you to that city. When we place our feet on the shores of glory, we will recognize we are home at last...forevermore.Lord bless you,Gary
