The old-timers used a term "coming up to faith" where we simply stand and wait for God to move. I'm sure who this was directed to but the blood of Jesus is strong enough to break any addiction, any sin, any habit. There's deliverance available through the blood of Jesus but we need to appropriate it by faith.
Yes, these are times when "fear" is running rampant in many forms. Surely the only true fear we should have is of the fear of the Lord, a holy reverence and abasement to the things of God. Many churches lack this true heart reverential fear but I do believe that God is restoring this vital concept back to the body of Christ. Our God is a consuming fire!
