~God answers prayer, but sometimes I think we hear some better then others.~I've always found that I hear the answer to the prayer, "Lord, what are the sins I've missed?"~If anyone is having troubles or doubts to whether God hears them or not, I've found that prayer to always be answered. Of course, we shouldn't go around testing God.
:-)God answers prayer, but sometimes I think we hear some better then othersI believe another name for this phenomenon is 'selective hearing' ;-) It requires a change of heart to switch the rest of one's inner hearing to 'on'.I've always found that I hear the answer to the prayer, "Lord, what are the sins I've missed?"This is not a question I would ask, for the simple reason it might invite condemnation (edit) from the Adversary.The wonderful thing about conviction, which God is gracious to bring us when we are honest with Him, is that it comes with healing, repentance and freedom from guilt. Amen! And the whole transaction can be swift, as long as we are totally serious about making it.
