This is a message for all of us we all (including myself) We need to check ourselves when posting and participating in this or other forums. Read this and check yourself. If this makes you mad or stirs your spirit maybe the Holy Spirit is trying to tell you something.I'm the first to say that there are times and places under the direction of the Holy Spirit to "stir the gravy" so to speak or to speak out strong against error or false teaching - in fact, this may be one of those time. I'm not coming against sermonindex forum or any Christian forums for that matter, but rather against the contentious, argumentative and religious pride spirits that sometimes attack these forums. These forums (especially sermonindex)can be a wonderful place and tool to learn, grow, encourage, rebuke, fellowship and reprove other brothers and sisters in Christ. But this is a warning to all - check yourself!!!

When anything brings out.... "Yeah, I know somebody like this" and we can't see ourselves in it .... Helloooo ... Use the chain saw in the picture to get at that Beam in your own eye ---You are right Annie this is so very true. We all have some this in us. With that being said I glad I started of the post with... :-P This is a message for all of us we all (including myself) When I first saw this I though of the time that this guy was me, and repented. But if when you see this you automatically think of someone else who is this guy then you are most likely in a bad state. You probably are this guy (like me) but the worst thing is that you don't even know it so you can't repent. Please everyone examine yourself and repent for the times you have been like this. I don't think anyone is 100% innocent. I know I'm not. It is so easy to be drawn into contentious arguments. If everyone to think about this before they posted imagine how much more fruitful our time on the forum would be.Sorry if I post this picture that had been posted before. I only have time to check out the forum a couple of times a week and things move through pretty quick. :-o Patrick
