I am going to be honest here and say that a few weeks ago I probably would have said there is not going to be a revival any time soon- if ever. I felt that things had gotten too bad and that the churches were so bad that they would just continue to go down hill (which still could be the case) I felt like if God did anything it would be, I don't know, something different. Something that He hasn't done before. I really don't know.Anyway, I had a dream last week. I was in my last church. Some have prayed for revival there but I knew there would never be one there because their hearts were not fully surrendered- and they were way too into the "gifts" as opposed to seeking just Him for Himself.In my dream I saw my old pastor from many years ago from an older church(a great on-fire pastor that was great and convicting) He was at this more former church- going to church there. I heard someone say "There's going to be a revival here". I said, "No there's not". And then Pastor Mike (from the older church) said "yes, there is going to be a revival here.!"I told him that it wasn't possible. I said "look at your old church, you prayed for revival and it never happened, then you retired."He said "but there is going to be one HERE."What struck me about the whole thing was how this on- fire, great pastor was attending this church (who has a younger pastor, lukewarm believers, had a mass exodus lately, etc...) that he was humbling himself to sit "under" another pastor and "wait" and "pray" while he, himself was really the better pastor with the better heart. He knew this was where it was going to happen. So he was willing to be there. What humility!I don't know if this really means that this particular church will have a revival or if this is just to show me that yes, there is going to be revival coming to the Lord's church. That we have to be able to be humble enough to sit and "wait" and "pray" , sometimes under those who don't seem like they are as "deep" or as "knowledgable" as we are.The second part of the dream:I was going through all of these children's/toddler's classrooms. I was trying to get something. All of the children were asleep on the floor. This was room after room of children sleeping on the floor. I was tiptoeing around them so I wouldn't wake them up. Silly me!WAKE IT UP, YOU SLEEPING CHRISTIANS!Anybody want to add anything here. Especially the first part, I am still wondering about.(I don't want to get into any kind of debate as to whether people get dreams from the Lord.)In Him, Chanin
