Jacob Aranza, founding pastor of Our Savior's Church in Broussard, Louisiana, has been in ministry through Aranza Outreach, a non-profit ministry to teenagers around the world, for over 25 years. Pastor Jacob is a best selling author and has traveled extensively speaking for such organizations as Focus on the Family, the Billy Graham Crusade, and Campus Crusade for Christ. He has spoken to over 8,000,000 young people on 5 continents and has five books in print. His positive, hard-hitting message has resulted in positive media coverage on CBS, NBC and ABC affiliates. He is currently a representative of Champions for Christ, speaking to professional athletic teams across the country, and was a chaplain with the New Orleans Saints for three years. Brother Jacob has been a spiritual mentor and an inspiration to me over the years, and I would highly recommend his sermons to you all. Jacob lived in Texas and was discipled by Bro Ravenhill for 7 years before returning here to south Louisiana, which is where his wife is from.I will try to locate more material from Bro Jake for you guys real soon. Have a blessed week!

Here are a few notes from Jacob Aranza's latest book, Making a Love that Lasts: How to find Love without Settling for SexPlaying Married and Practicing DivorceYou are developing habits now that you will carry with you and continue to practice for the rest of your adult life. One reason divorce rates are so high is that by the time people get married they have had a lot of practice breaking off relationships, rather than working things through when things get tough.Sex is Like Masking Tape . . .Stick a piece of masking tape on a surface and remove it again. Do this several more times. You'll notice that on each new surface the sticking power is less. People are like tape; the more they get stuck together with a person sexually and then detached, the less sticking power they have. The purpose of sex in marriage is to provide the oneness that sticks them together. (1 Corinthians 6:16)If, if fact, you become one with every person with whom you have sex, by the time you get married a lot of people are going to be pretty diluted. Is it any wonder that as the average number of premarital sexual partners has increased, so has the divorce rate?

Please do get more from Bro. Aranza, I saw him when I was 14 and his testimony changed my life. He is real and I love his message.

I just watched his testimony and would very much like to hear/see more of him. I would never have guessed that he spent 7 years getting mentored by Ravenhill. They are so different. But that's beautiful. It also just so happend that I watched Ravenhill's video "Apostle Paul's Preaching, Passion, and Praying" in which, at one point, he asks if anyone in the audience wants to become a preacher. He looks around and then comments that he is encouraged that a certain Jacob wanted to become one because he had been praying for him. I am wondering if it's the same Jacob.
