James 5:16 in action

I met with 2 Christian brothers tonight for the first time, with a focus of bringing up and discussing sins that we are/were struggling with. We went for about 2 1/2 hours. We will probably start praying more in the future sessions, but the confession was absolutely outstanding.

I have spent hours in Bible study, attended lengthy prayer meetings (good ones, too), done street evangelism, worked in the ministry, but this experience has introduced God to me in a new light that is absolutely refreshing. I feel more apt to pray, witness, obstain from sin, read Scripture, etc, at this moment, than I have in quite some time.

If you have thought about having a meeting like this and have not done so, I strongly encourage you to do so. I don't think you will have any regrets. Very filling experience.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive our sins, and Cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9.
God be Praised.
Press on, Brother.

Yes, brother! It is wonderful and biblical experience. I have felt the blessings of it. Actually two days ago I had wonderful talk with one of my close brothers.

It is a big slap to the flesh and pride, but the spirit is gaining much!

We must to repeat this daily:
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

We are in battle every day.
