Gay Eucharist attracts 1,000+

COLUMBUS, OHIO (6/16/06)-Over 1,000 homosexual and pro-homosexual clergy, bishops, and laymen of the Episcopal Church celebrated Eucharist Friday evening at Trinity Episcopal Church, just blocks from the site of the 75th Episcopal General Convention.

"This is a small taste of what heaven must be like," said the Rt. Rev. V. Gene Robinson, Bishop of New Hampshire, as he began his sermon to the prolonged cheers of the adoring congregation. Then Robinson was brought to tears as he thanked his homosexual partner Mark, three years after the Episcopal Convention at which Robinson's election as bishop was affirmed.

Sponsored by the homosexual pressure group Integrity, the gay-themed Eucharist stretched on for about two hours and 20 pages in the Eucharist program. The service began with a prelude on the church's massive pipe organ and concluded with a resounding rendition of "Amazing Grace" by the congregation. Around 600 communicants took places in the pews, while hundreds more sat in folding chairs, packed into the balconies, and flowed into the basement, the foyer, and out the doors.

Bishop Robinson said that he was primarily addressing the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender members of the Episcopal Church who were gathered there, adding, "I do invite those of you who are, shall we say, 'homosexually challenged,' to listen it."

Virtue Online spoke with Dr. Crew after the Homosexual Eucharist on Friday evening. Louie Crew founded Integrity in 1974 as a caucus for "full inclusion of LGBT persons in the Episcopal Church and our equal access to its rites." Asked how the movement he founded had become so successful, Crew replied, "I only listen to the Holy Spirit. It's much bigger than I am, and I knew that right at the beginning."

It seems like eveything and every one is getting ready. So many people now have tatoos. It is finally acceptable. When I was growing up the only people that had them all over their bodies worked in carnivals, but not today. It seems to be quite the fashion, with young men and women (and even old men and women that want to be "cool") have them all over their bodies, including their arms ("sleeves" they are called).

Satan is preparing fallen man to accept the mark, without hesitation.

Also, we now have the Sodomites that are forcing their way into society and into the Church. Jesus spoke of this time in Luke 17:26-36. Jesus tells us the way things will be shaping up, and what they will look like, shortly before His return to the earth:

26. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29. But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

You know it's sad, the nations of America and Canada, both not that very old. Nothing new is under the sun, a nation that forgets God will be turned into hell. There has never been a nation like the United States that has pressed out ministries, and the gospel like this nation. This nation has seen more in advancing the kingdom of God than at anytime save Pauls day as Paul turned the world upside down.

As the verse says, "turned into hell", death and all that is backwards; abortion, homosexuality, pedophilia, feminism, the removal of God in our schools just to name a few.

This nation will one day be overrun by another nation which will be stronger than her. It always has been that way since the foundation of the world. Rome fell because her men became women and her women became men.

One commentator said regarding the takeover of Babylon by the Medes and Persia. That when God wrote on the wall, the king was involved in an orgy. That is how all kindoms fall, when men become weak and full of lust of the eye, the pride of life. We are a fat nation given to appetite, sex and various types of pleasure. Nothing is new under the sun, it has happened before it happens again.

I've heard thru prophetic dreams that China will invade North America, whether that nation will invade or not, but I won't excuse the thought.

But we won't listen, because we'll think we are strong.

When Vesuvius erupted, people didn't want to leave their luxeries, they lingered hoping it will pass. Many didn't make it out, today they are a musuem of what awaits those who linger behind.

God help us, to get out of our little world that we think is our peace and security.
