One of my favorite sermons on SI is by an old Pentecostal preacher named B.H. "Burt" Clendennen. He's preached one of the few sermons I've ever heard on "praying through" which means simply that I pray until I get an answer (i.e. until there's a confirmation from the Holy Spirit that an answer has been given).

In this day of fast food religion, this one is of the sit-down variety. Here's a link. "What it Means to Pray Through"

i listen to many of these sermons now, its been a big holiday here in sweden so every one is free from work and so on, this have given me some extra time to listening to sermons, and its funny or thats the wrong word but im not so good expresing myself in englisch but i think u get the point, just when i think i understand anything about god and everything else i just get blown away by some sermons, even that i may have heard a similar messege before on the same topic, another speaker can make some other illustration or parallel that just makes the holy spirit throw lightning bolts of light and truths into my inner being.
and the more i learn the more hunger i get for the things of god,
thank you lord for this and keep bringing these "hidden gems" here on SI . I love them

gods peace to you

Ron Bailey... a much neglected gem here. Check out his sermons. You won't find your typical revival preaching, but you will find some very deep-in-the-Word teaching.
