Jerry Bridges and "Pursuit of Holiness"

I dont see anything about him on this website, but I have just read the first two chapters of this book and they seem right on target. Has anyone else read this book? I know it has sold a lot of copies, but that doesnt necessarily mean it is a book of truth, but so far it is excellent. I had never heard of him before and I was just wondering if anyone else had.

DS, I have read the book, and it is excellent. Bridges clearly defines the difference between true Godly holiness and legalistic self-righteousness.

You are on a wonderful journey. I hope you share some of your discoveries here. This is a great topic.

It is a pretty good book. Bridges followed largely the Puritan's balanced view on holiness. My copy has a foreword well-written by JI Packer. Highly recommended.
