Shocking Youth Message Stuns Hearers by Paul Washer
https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=12827

LISTEN TO THIS MESSAGE! It brings eternity and the true faith of Christ into our view. A very pointed sermon that cuts through the overlay of false profession in the Church. Paul Washer humbly yet with boldness speaks forth as the Oracles of God to a crowd of 5000 baptist youth. Would be to God that more would speeak with a clear conscience of true Christian virtue and repentance.

Oh Lord raise up more prophets like this man!

"I will preach as dying man to dying man"

"I will preach as though I will never preach again"

"I don't know why you claping, I am talking about you!" :-o

This man cares about their souls not his own reputation.

Oh how we desperately need such prophets in the church today.

"Many say they would like to meet a prophet. You may want to see one but not hear one, he'll leave blisters on your soul."
-Leonard Ravenhill

This brothers boldness is what America needs to hear. He unashamedly calls out the false cultural christianity that many believe is true Christianity in America. His rebuke is from a heart that is grieving over the lost state of souls. Please Listen to this!

I listened to this message with tears. Everything that was preached was the truth. It was truly a heartcry from the pastor, an urgent appeal for the Church to return to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our lives. This is a message that needs to be heard by every Christian. We need it.

This man preaches the Gospel and exposes what our fellowship refers to as the "cotton candy" Jesus. I'm listening to it now.

He said "Conversion is not a flu shot." I would strongly encourage you to listen to this sermon. We must walk out our repentance and confronts the falseness of the "carnal" Christian.

This man is a brother and would encourage you to listen to the message. I was encouraged and pray you will be too.

Praise the Lord that there are still people that preach the unedited truth!

It was also quite a revelation for me when he said "There is no such thing as a carnal Christian." ... Very true, but I had never heard anyone say anything like that

yes, brothers and sisters, this sermon is really good!

God bless paul washer for standing firm on truth with no compromise and no apologies, but all in love for the glory of God!

Was he a prophet or is it NORMAL BIBLE preaching?

Shocking preaching?....The sad thing is it shouldnt be.
It should be normal everyday preaching.

Great Word!!

Yes, this should be the normal heart cry for today's preacher. I don't think it's a radical or surprising message at all, actually. This burdened, fearless servant was simply obedient to the truth; all the hooplah is probably because he preached such an exhortation at an organized SBC rally.

It's a great one, though. Lord, embolden more preachers like this! Preaching that casts reputation aside and resounds with uncompromising truth in these wicked days!

Yes, yes, yes!

It is shocking maybe because it is rare thing to hear such word in american average church today.

I can say that I am hearing it almost every service in my local church from my pastor.

Brother your words are just indicator and reminder how far the church has went from God and His Word!

I am genuinly stirred to the inside by this message. I pray that God would raise up more preachers of truth like Paul in this hour.

This message deserves to be promoted equally as much as The Revival Hymn or Ten Shekels and a Shirt. The whole Church needs to hear it at least once every so often. I love listening to all of the great preachers, to be challenged as Leonard Ravenhill put it, "...but did it change you?" This should be your next "front page" sermon after Revival in the Bible by Vernon McGee.

As far as this sermon goes: GLORY TO THE LIVING GOD!

Listen to this today! Burn copies for as many professing Christians as the Lord lays on your heart.

I believe sermons like this are the reason why God has raised up Sermon Index.

Yes brother this is it! We are so used to abnormal preaching that normal preaching seems strange when we hear it! God help us if we actually hear the voice of a prophet in our day. God send your prophets to your church.

Re:Shocking youth message stuns hearers

I'd like to say how much I've been blessed since the Lord led me to this website where I can hear sermons like this one.
Sermons like these affirm just how much the Lord loves me, desiring to have me set apart for His purposes.
May the Lord bless you all at SermonIndex even more. Thankyou for continuing to expose lukewarm, half-truth, man-pleasing, false teachings, while giving someone like myself a place where I can go in this world to receive truth and real doctrine that stretches me to be honest towards God, myself, and my neighbor.
SermonIndex, you're like a brother to me. This sermon by Paul Washer is truly another beautiful pearl...thanks for sharing it :-)

A couple of key points stick out to me in this message: 1) Much of the Christian churches doctrine in the West is based upon Christian songs 2) Many in the churches today in the West would be excommunicated from churches in other churches around the world for their worldliness. This message contains a good balance of repentance and holiness preaching together with reality.
