i am seeking for more sermons that are strong on holiness......stuff that is different to the garbage that is being preached from the pulpits today!

preferably videos.....i enjoy giving people the vidoes on a dvd.....

the help would be awesome guys.....

i liked the sermon "Travailing" from Leonard Ravenhill.......

I would recommend Ravenhill's video interview. It is most powerful. It is a wonderful synthesis of many things he believes and some commentary on why we are in the shape we are in in many churches. I have listened to this and watched this many times.

these sermons i recomend to anyone

if you are looking for video sermons id recomend any sermon by keith daniel, but the first one i saw was sermon on the mount, after seeing that one ... i watched the rest of them, some other strong sermons are

major Ian Thomas - knowing jesus
david wilkerson - going all the way whit god
and there are many great sermons by Paris reaidhead to .. i would recomend you to listen to those ones too'

Zac Poonen has many video sermons.. i love his bible teaching he always delivers a good strong message

There's a number of Richard Owen Robert videos on SI regarding revival that I would add as well. There is no revival without holiness.

As Robert said, the Ravenhill video that I believe was done very near the end of his life is very moving as well.

Greg i am already familiar with the top 20......alhough i must mention that just becasue they are popular doesnt make them great sermons........

A sermon that comes to my mind is Jonathan Edward's "Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God". That the sermon was so convicting that listeners clung to the beams. They could sense themselves slipping into hell. This was not the result of elloquent oratory, but the work of the Spirit. Yet reading that sermon in our churches might not have the same effect. We can't just copy past experiences, hoping for the same results.

In my life some of the most powerful sermons were nothing special. However, they were God's word for me for that time, and I knew it. God used them to bring about change in me.

So, if you are looking for powerful sermons, do ask the Lord to lead you to the ones that are his message for you, and ones that will touch the very area in your life HE would like to address. And expect that he may use any means - even "donkeys" It would be just like God to do that.

Check out this sermon. It's an extreme message, given by a street preacher from Milwuakee. He's preaching behind a church pulpit, exhorting the people to serve their King in a more radical way. Exposes lukewarm, effeminate Christianity and gives powerful examples from the ministries of Wilabrord, John Knox, Wesley and Whitefield. Enjoy!
