Speakers' Corner, London, England

I was in Toronto yesterday preaching open air from the Speakers' Corner Pulpit there (maybe 30 at most stopped to listen at any one time) and a man told me that at the Speakers' Corner Pulpit in London, England they have one at "High Park" that attracts 500-600 people on Sunday afternoons.

Has anyone from here at SI ever been there? Do you have any stories from Speakers' Corner in London?[image]

Actually, it is called Hyde Park. I have been there, but not on a Sunday. Also, you don't just get Christians there. There are also muslim groups there, homosexual groups, peace campaigners, save the this, that and the other etc. Whoever wants to speak there can. One group just competes against the other for the biggest crowd. There is supposed to be a speakers corner in every city in England. You just have to find out where it is in your particular city. That's it really.
