Just a word from the Lord. True today as it was then:
"The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?"
What will we do?

This verse and Jeremiah 6:16 are the 2 verses the Lord has given for this ministry. thats great you shared this one brother.
The saddening thing is that the people truly love to have it so, and say "we will not walk therein (the old paths)."
Everytime I hear this scripture, it resounds in my spirit, especially
[b]'and my people love to have it so'
that sends shivers down my spine,
Lord may it never be said of those here that we love to hear false prophets who would tickle our ears instead of lovingly rebuking the sin in our hearts and actions,

Amen, He has always preserved a remnant, and His truth will always be with us.
I think this is pretty cool...
I just finished reading through Isaiah and started into Jeremiah a couple days ago. Either yesterday or this morning I read Jeremiah 5, which ends with "what will ye do in the end thereof?"
So, just five minutes ago, I see that it is the featured verse for the website, so I look up the post that I wrote about Jeremiah 5:31 some years back...it turns out it was 5 years ago, almost to the day.
I love stuff like that...praise God!
(I think my dog just sneezed 5 times)
