Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
In this verse who is being refered to as "the sons of God?"
Did they present themselves before God in the heavenly realm?
Reading verse 7:
Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
Satan was saying that he came form the earth. Can I assume that when Satan was before God he was not in the earth, and therefore assume that when the sons of God came to present themselves before God, they too were not on the earth?
Do you think that "the sons of God" could be refering to angels?
I'm just looking for some good input on this since it sparked my curiosity.
Thanks,
Keith
