Brethren,
I am deeply saddened right now. A young man who was a resident at the treatment centre where I work has passed away over the weekend.
While he was a resident at the centre he would come to church with me, we read the word together and prayed. Just last week he phoned me from jail, we prayed together, I encouraged him to press in to God.
Both of his parents had died years ago. He had nobody. He was from an Indian reserve in northern Ontario. I had visited his home community, it was bleak to say the least.
I just wish I could have spent more time with him.
We really don't know when we are going to die or when the people around us will go. We have to wake up. This truly is a dying world.
