I live near Asheville, and I am quite familiar with it. It tends to be a freak show, and I admit I stay as far away as possible. I wont even think of taking my kids to it.
However, perhaps it's time I consider getting involved in an outreach next year...

We'll be there again next year (God willing), so let us know if you would like to join us!
Cool... I've never street preached before, so that will be a new experience for me. The Lord has me in other types of witnessing ministries (lately to Mormons) but maybe instead of avoiding the "freaks" and drum lines in A'ville, I need to get in the middle of it.

I don't want this thread to turn into a Bible version debate... but I did find it very telling that in one of your recordings the lesbian woman began quizzing you about what version you were using, and knew it wasn't a KJV... and asked if it was an NIV. There is a very good reason why she brought that up.
I use only the KJV anyway, but especially when witnessing because it puts a total lock-down on sin. There is no weakness or watered down veiled references to sin.
