FREEDOM CD! hear the gospel.

sermonindex Jan 19, 2004

FREEDOM CD! hear the gospel."FREEDOM" is a CD that is designed to do just that. On the "FREEDOM" CD you will not find the voice of any evangelist or pastor, just the words of Jesus and the testimonies of people who have received this treasure and bare witness to the fact that it is real. Here is the entire "FREEDOM" CD consisting of 10 tracks in mp3 format. (If internet explore tries to make you download the files as mpg simply right click the link and select "save target as" when the box comes up type .mp3 at the end of the file name. The file will then be saved in mp3 format.)Track 1 Matthew 1-4 (7.9 MB - 7 min)Track 2 Matthew 5-6 (9.3 MB - 8 min) Track 3 Matthew 7-10 (6.8 MB - 6 min)Track 4 Matthew 11 (5.9 MB - 5 min)Track 5 Matthew 12-15 (6.5 MB - 6 min) Track 6 Matthew 16 (7.7 MB - 7 min)Track 7 Matthew 17-20 (7.2 MB - 6 min)Track 8 Matthew 21-25 (8.4 MB - 7 min)Track 9 Matthew 26-27 (11.2 MB - 10 min)Track 10 Matthew 28 (12.2 MB - 11 min)Testimonies: If you have a testimony about the Freedom CD please email it to sermonindex@msn.com

Greg, the freedom CD is phenomonal!!!!!where did it come from and is it possible to get a hard copy? for some reason the play quality is a bit sketchy ---thanks scott

Greg, the freedom CD is phenomonal!!!!!YES I second that opinion. I listened to the whole thing earlier today and was very convicted that it needed to get out there for people without Christ. And even for encouraging Christians.where did it come from and is it possible to get a hard copy? for some reason the play quality is a bit sketchy ---thanks scottChris from United4Truth.com made it and spent countless hours at that! I believe this is the highest quality available, try it out and burn all the files to a CD!

Pretend you do not know Jesus. (I know its near impossible but give it a shot just for a few seconds) The purpose of life is simply the challenges, objects and people you come in contact with each day. You go through times of anxiety and depression but most of all moments of emptiness. Walking through a park on a Sunday afternoon a shiny object on the ground catches your eye. You walk closer to find a CD in a plastic case. The CD simply has the word "Freedom" written across the front of it. Obviously, your curiosity is sparked. What would you do? Would you pick it up and listen to it? maybe... and "maybe" is a strong enough reason for us to make the effort to have that CD in that park. For the first time in history we have technology that allows us to witness in a powerful new way. I think it is important to note here that this does not take the place of our responsibility to tell others about Jesus and manifest His love and power to those we come in contact with, but this is simply something that anyone can do that could yield incredible results for the Kingdom.----------Never before in the history of Christianity (life) has their been a medium like this available to us. With the cost of blank CD's decreasing and personal CD-R burners for under $100. Many of us are in a position to begin sowing powerful and possibly life changing seeds here on earth.----------Imagine the fruit!! What if students started leaving them around their school or employees at their work. What if someone were to take a road trip with 5,000 CDs and plant them all over the U.S. Can you imagine the impact? All of those seeds! planted at Bars, grocery stores, businesses, shopping malls, mardi gras!, college campuses, city hall etc..What an opportunity we all have. How many souls could be reached? How many Christians could catch the fire? What's the cost? At present you can get blank CDs in bulk for around .20-.25 per CD. Here is a link for a 600 pk of silver on silver 48x CD-Rs for $138. Or you can get 100 for $20 - $25.If you are leaving the CDs outside you will want them in some type of case. Technically you could simply use ziplock bags or purchase cases like the one above. Depending on the type of case or sleeve you buy it will generally run from .05 to .20 each. Burners vary in regards to speed. If you get a CD burner that writes at 48x it can burn a 60 minute audio CD in under two minutes. One last note.. To do this you have to be all about Jesus and eternity, not about this world and yourself. When you witness to people on the street you may have the opportunity to lead someone in the sinners prayer and go home that day with the personal reward and sense of accomplishment knowing that someone you ministered to got "saved". But, doing this you will never know the fruit that came out of it until you are in heaven. In other words you will not be able to see "results". So, your mindset has to be eternal reward not temporal.

GregThis really is wonderful stuff. I'm looking forward to the answers to questions others have asked. I have only listened to the first track and then had to sit a while lifting brimming eyes to the God who so loved....Would you consider designing a cd label for this, maybe in word format?

I have only listened to the first track and then had to sit a while lifting brimming eyes to the God who so loved....yea its an amazing reaction to hear these powerful testimonies with also the words of Jesus inbetween.Would you consider designing a cd label for this, maybe in word format?Hmm.. the basic idea of this CD is that you wouldnt have to spend much in producing it to give it away.. and just the words 'freedom' simply written on the CD gives it a sort of mystique! :-D It'a amazing me and my sister are leaving them everywhere in Toronto. In phone booths, restuarants, subway cars, hehe Praise God.I am considering making copies of the Revival Hymn and leaving them on pews with the word 'Revival' on it... :-P

Greg:I like that idea about the Revival Hymn and the pews. I may have to do that also.I did create a simple insert for the Freedom CD on MSWord. I just put Freedom on the front with some short notes about the CD. Then on the inside it has some scripture and a couple of things I believe the Lord helped me out to put on there. I also included my name and phone numbers for someone to call if they wanted.I have only left one so far. It was on the windshield of a lady's car outside my office. The Lord put it on my heart to do that and I saw her the other day walking around near my office. I thought it was odd because I have never seen her walking around really. She just looked at me kind of strange. She kind of had a distressed look about her as she puffed her cigarette. I pray that the Lord is dealing with her and that she has or will listen to the CD. My wife and I prayed for her to be saved. I will post that miracle here when it happens.Anyway, I just thought I would share that.God bless everyone.Mike

Thankyou brotherWhat an amazing way to serve God in your daily life. Me and my sister have been going nuts making 50-100 copies at a time of these cds and just leaving them all around Toronto. In Telephone booths, on trains, buses, and washrooms! lol The Lord is honouring the giving out of these cds for free, I know lives are being changed just not sure which ones. :-P

WOW, I can't believe it's taken me this long to listen to this. It is intense! I'll be leaving some stray copies of this around in some public places to be listened to.

WOW, I can't believe it's taken me this long to listen to this. It is intense! I'll be leaving some stray copies of this around in some public places to be listened to.I just posted about the Revival Hymn in another thread: Revival Hymn, compilation CD's and the like... I feel that the Revival Hymn is an evangelistic tool to lukewarm Christians. And the 'Freedom CD' is for unbelievers. I would encourage you and others to make copies of the Revival Hymn and leave it on church pews with just the word 'REVIVAL' written on it. It's sure to impact some medicore Christians and turn them on fire; fervent in Spirit serving the Lord.

Hi sister, welcome!Hope you are getting around O.K. here. You want to go back to the first post on this.Go to the "goto next page" at the top here. Here is a brief overview of navigating through the replys in the forum. You can view the reply's two ways: above the top right of this reply you will see two boxes;"Flat" and next to it "Newest First" or "Oldest First" (which you can switch on the drop down box) This reply (That you are now reading) would be the "Newest" and the very first post the "Oldest" Depending on which you prefer, you can have the order reversed.I know it can be confusing at first, especially if there is multiple pages (It still throws me off sometimes)At the top and/or bottom of the page you can also go to "goto next page" which will advance you to the...well, the next page :-) In this case here, the explanation is in the first couple of replys along with the files for this compilation. It originated from another site www.unitedfortruth.com and I believe you can get the "CD" there, but all the files are here for downloading and you can make your own if you have a CD burner.

Thank you! Thank you! That did help. Very kind of you. ALthough I still have re-read it to understand it LOL. I do have another question: DO you have to go to the exact subject you posted a msg on to see the replies---the reason im asking is since it was my post i personally put on here will it tell me if I have any replies to any of my messages where it says: "you have ___ messages" by my name after I log on. I was wondering about this because what if you forget where all you posted notes...i mean do you have to write all of them down ea time to then find them again? Thanks!!!!!! :-o sometimes very confused...In love with Jesus

will it tell me if I have any replies to any of my messages where it says: "you have ___ messages" by my name after I log on. no...I was wondering about this because what if you forget where all you posted notes...i mean do you have to write all of them down ea time to then find them again? Ah...no..:-), not exactely. When you first log on you can click on the "View Account" on the upper left (Or click on your log in name) you will see the last 5 reply's YOU have made, so at least you know where you left off. The thing you will notice is likely all your replys will be listed as 'Re:' but you can still figure out where they apply. The reason is (and I still forget to do this a lot of the time)is if you dont type something into the "Subject" box each time you reply it is just a continuation of the last reply, thus "Re:"When you go into the main forum the folders will be higlighted as well to replys since your last log in. But that is in general to all the posts since that time.Lastly, one of the neat features here is the "Search" function at the very top. Type in a word, name etc. and it will search out replys in the forum as well as downloads. Again, you will likely get a lot of "Re:" in those, but it can help to narrow things down. It can be confusing at the first, but you are doing just fine. Let us know if we can be of any more help!Mike

Scott, I converted the freedom cd to a higher format, 320 kBits and 48000 Hz and it didn't sound a lot better. The maker of this has done a good job as it is but if anybody would like it in the higher format I'm sure it can be set up somewhere.jouko
