I was hoping he would do something crazy, like rebuke TBN or the crowd or the prosperity preachers or something. But it was still good. ;-) :-P :-) :-D

"America is not gospel hardened but ignorant to the true gospel of Jesus Christ!"
-Paul Washer

I would encourage you all brothers and sisters to respond to TBN with this web form and let them know how Paul Washer has blessed you and encouraged you if you watched the video.

Praise the Lord! I have only watched that show a few times and honestly it made me sick, but this made me rejoice.

Is there any way to save that video or do you have to order it from TBN?

C
Combat_Chuck Aug 12, 2006

it's streaming and you can't save it as far as i can tell

sermonindex Aug 12, 2006

You can't save the stream but only watch it live. I watched the Paul Washer part of the video and was very blessed. He is a very humble man of God and surely stood out amongst the theatrics of TBN I hope he gets asked back more and he can really speak some more on true christianity.

I encourage you all to respond to TBN to let them know that you enjoyed seeing Paul Washer on there. The more they hear this the more likely they are to ask him back.

That was very encouraging. I responded. It would be nice to see him back on.

TBN’s Praise The Lord Invaded by Gospel Preachers

Yesterday evening, actor turned evangelist Kirk Cameron hosted TBN’s Praise The Lord program. Who were his hard-hitting guests? Benny Hinn? T.D. Jakes? Marilyn Hickey? No… No… and definitely No! The episode was invaded by gospel preachers Todd Friel and Paul Washer. Even Ted Tripp began preaching the gospel during his talk on proper parenting! It was wild!

If you are anything like me, you usually flip the channel right past TBN when watching television. So if you didn’t see the broadcast, Watch it here! You will not be disappointed. While the singers weren’t my favorite and I’m not familiar with every guest on the show, overall the Gospel was preached! Funny (and sad) that this is an unusual thing for a Christian television station!

Did anyone else watch this?

I did and thought it was excellent. As usual, Kirk and Todd did a wonderful job.

And Paul Washer is inspiring. When he was talking about missionaries in foreign lands, and said, "Give him a bible, and put him in the town square, and let him preach until people either stone him or get converted" I said, "AMEN!"

He seems to believe as Wesley who said, "When you preach, men should either get angry or converted. If one of those two things does not happen when you preach, I don't believe you are called to be a preacher."

And Luther who said, "so preach, so that those who do not fall out with their sin will fall out with you."

Or Ian Paisley who said, "riot or revival".

I believe that when you preach, men should either defend their sin or surrender their sin.

The looks on Kirk and Todd's faces said it all, after Paul told them what he tells missionaries going out into the field. "Preach until you get stoned or make a convert!"

If TBN keeps airing this type of stuff, people are bound to get converted to Christianity.

I went to the TBN website and left a message to PLEASE have those guests on again soon. The more positive feedback they get, the better -- it may make them re-think the sort of guests they usually have on there (such as the Osteens).

I go to church with Bro. Paul and every sermon he preaches, just cuts like a knife. We love it. However sometimes he preaches the most tender, deeply touching sermons on how much Christ loves His servants. . . and we leave church just walking on clouds of glory. His sermon using the text from Song of Solomon is like that.

Amen. Imagine if TBN actually let Paul Washer preach a sermon for a hour!
