Father,

Our hearts are not right.
What are we doing.
What have we done?

We are far too often judging with wrong judgment.
In our pride, we have stolen this authority and abused it.

We do what Your Son did not.
For He knows all men intimately and we do not.
How short we fall to recall that even the Pharisees came to You. While we go on judging by outward appearance and applying that to inward realities, those hidden from our sight.

That there is a compulsion to make and give judgment, which is Yours alone, destroys and betrays the concern that is stated, that we care for their very souls.

Why will we not be honest about matters all, great and small? What still lurks in these evil hearts, that hides in the deepest, darkest shadows and flows effortlessly from the lips, the pen and silent expression?

We have made our opinions King and assumptions Lord. We oppose facts on the ground and trade them for imaginations in the clouds. Our discernment needs discerning, our rebuke rebuking, and judging judgment. We turn most things on their head and let that be our determination leaving our hearts without examination. We have dragged the old life along with the new, living by sight, expressing it by sound and fury, open slander, bitter fruit producing an exposed character that is of our concern, our respect, our limited, fallible knowledge. We are not ashamed, but inflamed, quick to judge and not slow to anger.

Oh righteous Father, where did the devilish idea ever enter into us to be pre-judgmental, this diabolical dishonesty, a fabrication, this want of entering into other mens minds, thieves we are, attempting to steal their most intimate thoughts, that there is even a desire to do so. We have made conclusion our right and mandate. Our natural proclivities rule and reign holding them at arms distance rather than to sacrifice them to Your obedience.

How Lord, how to speak to this people? Why, why will we not wait and judge nothing before it's time? We trade caution for compromise and finality for reality. We do not know, we do not ask and we do not pray. We have no understanding of waiting, waiting on You, waiting on further light, holding our own thoughts in abeyance rather we betray openly what is truly in our hearts opposes our lips and reproaches the very Savior who saves us.

And still we are not ashamed.

We are thin skinned and thick headed, a rebellious people yet still in our hearts. It ought not to be so!

Isa 53:3-5

[i]All [u]we[/u] like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed,
and he was afflicted,

yet he opened not his mouth:

he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb,

And we shall be boisterous in broad daylight. We have no silence within us and much turbulence and turmoil. We underwhelm and over exaggerate.

Salt and light.
Vinegar and gall.

But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God?
Who are you who judge another's servant?
Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy.

But who are you to judge another?

[i]For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?[/i]

[i]For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.[/i]

Father, judge us with right judgment, we do not know what we do.

[i]Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.[/i]

Teach us Oh Lord.

[i]But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.[/i]

For we miss the evidence;

[i]For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.[/i] 1Co 2:11-16

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

Father thank you for judging us by the right judgment you provided on the Cross, That is Jesus Christ that is now our life and all that we are and ever will be, in Christ, the life we now live. Thank you Father that you don't judge us for what we do or who we were, but who we are in Christ Jesus.

I am so glad you don't judge me for my old nature, but the New Creature you have made me by the birth of your Son Jesus Christ in me.

I will ever be grateful and thankful for this precious Incorruptable Seed you have conceived in me and I will always be thanking you by the life I live in Him, know even if I stumble it is the Christ in me you see, and by confession I am free from all condemnation and cleansed from all unrighteousness.

Yet He was perfect, the only sacrifice the Father could accept, for all that He was accused of, we being the accusers with all the accusations being the fullness of our own evil hearts.

Let us judge each other as God does. I see Jesus in you because I see Jesus in me. I love because He is Love and the Holy Spirit is teaching this Love by the renewing of our minds to the Mind of Christ.

Praise God, He did not judge me, punished to death forever, but gave His only begotten Son in my place. How can we not love the Son and the Father and live in the spirit by the Holy Spirit, praising God forever.
