Big fight between parents - Please pray!

Brethren and sisters!
The last few days have been very hard for me.
My parents just don't seem to be able to get along and they hurt eachother and break eachother by fights and I'm so worried about them!

I've prayed alot for them the last few days and its really terrible what is happening.
Today we all got to church where surprisingly the service was about: 'Liberate your family'.
I had some hope that my parents would listen but they have hardened their hearts against eachother and just can't do anything but hurt eachother.
Somehow their are selfish, hurt, to proud, cold, etc.

Since my childhood, as long back as I can remember there has been fights. Even when I was as little as 5 I remembered my parents having a fight and asking me and my then 3 year old sister with who we would want to live. The last few months the situation bettered, but it just exploded suddenly.

I have talked with my mom and my dad and I just see why its going wrong and what they dislike and hate. My mom tonight stated that they could talk through me, but thats a burden I and my sister cannot carry. It's heartbreaking that they treat eachother like their worst enemy and I know that it breaks God's heart too. The marriage is ment to be the image of Christ and the church and I know that satan tries everything to destroy this image, just like the church is degenerating.

I've pleaded to God to stop my parents from doing any more serious hurt to eachother.
Please pray for my parents that God may be able to touch there hardened hearts!
The only and best thing I can do is pray and I would ask anyone who feels pleading for this brothers family. Hopefully one day they will put their trust in the Lord and start to be loving to eachother Gods way.
I know its not my fault and that God is doing what is best. But I'm so worried about my parents.

Romans 8:28
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

What about the people who don't love God? If my parents would love God they would be totally different against eachother. I am so worried about them.
Please, please pray!

I thank all for reading my heartcry.
God bless you!

Dear Jonathan,

My heart and prayers are with you. There is one reason for these things, selfishness. I pray your father takes the lead and realizes his duty is not to lord it over anyone but to take whatever wrong or perceived wrong as an obligation to put beneath him and to love his wife and family irregardless.

If the Lord leads and there is a way possible to get this into his hands ...

Thank you and much other people for your prayers alot! The situation is far more dark then I hoped.

Eph 6:12 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I appreciate the links to that sermon! Sadly I know that my dad would not listen to the sermons, because its in English what makes it to hard for him. But to be honest, I'm sure he wouldn't want to listen to it if it was in Dutch either.

Still if the Lord wants and leads that I give him these sermons I will do so.

Your prayers mean alot to me and my sister! And probably more for my parents then they might ever know..

Dear brothers and sisters!
Special thanks to those who have prayed for my parents or me!

The current situation (since a few days) is that my parents talk to eachother again and not just ignore eachother. The treat eachother alot better, so thats cool!

Still I'm a bit worried about their past and the 'baggage' they still have with them. Its not healthy to just bury and forget, they have to forgive and built their relationship on Jesus instead of trying it out of their own power.

Today I picked up a book about marriage in a christian bookstore, they can use it to improve the way they talk with eachother and to help them to do daily devotions with eachother.
I hope my parents won't be insulted and I hope that both my parents want to read through the book. If not I will bring it back to the bookshop and tell them that they can pick a book themselves from the shop.

I hope the book is not to hard as my dad has little knowledge about the Bible and I hope that my mom is not to proud to just rush over the texts and discourage my dad to do daily devotions with her.

If you want please pray for:
- Right timing to give the book when both parents are together.
- That they don't get angry on me or eachother if they receive this book.
- That they will tear down old crooked foundations and build upon the Rock, Jesus Christ!
- If they don't like this book, they will be motivated to do/read/listen something else together.

Once against, thank you all alot!
Thank you for the cup cold water! :-)

[edit]Gave the book, so far so good!
