“I had a shoulder injury over a year ago and have not been able to bench press without pain since, not even the bar alone.” said a personal trainer at the gym to me. Compassion filled my soul as I looked into the eyes of this young man so I asked if I could pray for him. Sure he said. After a short prayer I said how can we test it out. Well he said I could bench press.
HEAVY WEIGHTS, HEALING, AND HOLY AMAZEMENT
As we walked over to the bench my expectation was growing. He began to lift the bar without weights on it and without pain. Let’s put more weight on he exclaimed as he reached for the 45-pound plates. After lifting 135 pounds 3 times he said there is a little pain. He racked the weight and I laid my hand on his shoulder as he lay on the bench and commanded the pain to go. Then I asked him to lift the weight again, and without hesitation he did and without pain. Praise God! And if that was not enough, he put on another set of 45-pound plates bringing the total to 225 pounds and began his work out.
SUNGLASSES INDOORS AND THE GLORY OF GOD
I was in search of a gym to join as I waked into one of the local fitness clubs. A sales woman approached me in dark sunglasses. That was unusual so I had to ask, call me rude or curious, I’m just a little bold I believe. She said there was a small growth on her eye that caused the light to irritate her. So I offered to pray for her.
A HISTORY OF HEALING
She said that she was just thinking about Bethel Church and how she wished someone from there would pray for her, because the people they pray for get healed. Well, I said this is your day. Then I prayed and asked her to open her eyes. “Wow! It’s better, it’s gone!” she said. Glory to God, Jesus works out in the gym too!
