"The deceitfulness of sin." Hebrews 3:13

Sin . . .
has its original from a deceitful subtle serpent,
is the ground of all the deceit in the world,
is the great deceiver of souls.

Sin . . .
debases the soul of man,
defiles and pollutes the soul of man,
renders the soul most unlike to God,
who is the best and greatest;
renders the soul most like to Satan,
who is a very sea and sink of sin!

Sin robs the soul of . . .
the image of God,
the holiness of God,
the beauty of God,
the glory of God,
the righteousness of God.

Sin is peccatum est Deicidium--a killing of God!

"But they kept shouting--Crucify Him! Crucify Him!"
Luke 23:21

Sin is peccatum est Deicidium--a killing of God!

When put that way, it is an eye opener.

We know that God hates sin, but we take it for granted, we know God hates sin.

But when it destroys the life of God within us, we need to kill the sin in us, not God.

We grieve God with our sin, and yes we will 'repent'. But how casually we repent. If someone, after 'repenting' returns to the same sin, how have they repented?

Our choice is to get rid of the sin, or get rid of God. Who will we choose? God bless.

The way brooks speaks his words brings chills down my back. What truth about sin, may all the lies of the devil in the modern day church were their is a flooding over the truth of the awfulness of sin.

Lord teach us and reveal to us how we are serving this god called sin.

Christ came and died to take away sin and destroy it. "he that is dead is freed from sin".
