What do you guys think about the line:

'We want another Pentecost?'

We sometimes sing this hymn in our church, and the line quoted above annoys some people, who say that we don't need another Pentecost because the first one was sufficient and we already have the Holy Ghost.

I love this hymn though. From my perspective, in a right sense we do need another outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the form of a revival in our hearts and then onto the church.

It is such a shame to sometimes see and hear people talk about a church revival that is needed, when the fact is we haven't had one in England for many years, because we first need a revival in our own hearts.
