Needing Prayer

I would just like to ask for your prayers. I feel like Im growing cold, 2 months ago I was doing better spiritually than I had ever been before. And all of a sudden it was as if it was gone. I have had scattered days where its better, but not like before, I just cant seem to keep any thought for longer than a minute. But last month I started school, in a very liberal college, (because I felt that was the place He wanted me to go). Which adds to my dilemma because its harder being a witness when you dont feel close to God...Please pray for me... thanks. :-(

James, have you ever ask Jesus fully into your heart when we believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day heartfelt tell him we are a sinful man to take our lives and do his will.Then confess with our mouths that Jesus is the lord of are lives . Then surround your self in praise either music or sermons have it on in the car in your home 24 hours a day Read the gospels (new test.) everyday confusion cannot stand in the presence of our praise fill your mind with the holy spirit.The Passion of the christ is a good movie to watch to see his love for us. Hey thanks for the concern, I already have asked Jesus into my heart, and He has become the Lord of my life. Sounds simple, and I was raised in a Christian family, but didnt really do it until like 3 years ago. I dont think this time has much to do with salvation though, I kinda know, well I received maybe six months ago a word, like over and over in different ways and from different people, that told me I would be tempted more than ever before and pass though complete loneliness, but "those who survive the sword, will find favor in the desert." I would like prayer to regain and surpass old discipline and passion, because the silence and loneliness has been harder on me than I ever imagined...I just want to clarify that I have been born again.

The last time I had that problem I prayed for God to show me my sins - which He did - and I repented - and it lifted! Praise the Lord.

Dear jamezosn, a brother in the Lord shared that verse with me as I was beginning to go through this period where I could not percieve the Lord's presence. It has been a very difficult experience! I remember reading in the Evidence Bible about a well-known Christian, I think his name was Oswald Chambers?, that went through a period like that for 4 years? Ray Comfort describes how there was about a year of his life that was like being held on the brink of insanity by a spider's silk thread(a paraphrase) and I think it was Duncan Cambell that testified to spending many years in the wilderness, dry like a bone. In many ways I feel like I'm still there myself. What Dorcas shared, for me, really rings true.

And by the way brother, the next verse in that passage reads
