Until REVIVAL comes...

I pray for revival here in my city... but its just one thing that conserns me, wile many people cry out for revival... who is going to desiple them? who is going tp lead them when they get saved? we cant even keep those who come one and one in confrances and other events... how could we keep them if they would come in thousands? im sure GOD would help..but i honestly dont think he will send revival if there is no one who take care of those who will be born of him in that revival... i belive that is one of the many hindrances to revival... so until revival comes lets win them one and one to the kingdom..and deciple them and teach them from the word of god..and maybe then when we have a people ready for revival..or as ready we can be if you understand what i meen. i dont think anyone is ready for it when it comes.but when we are ready to take care of them who will come to christ then it will come...

keep in mind i dont live in america... but from reading here i belive it is somewhat the same condition there.

gods peace

It's funny you say this, I am currently watching Winkie Pratney's 21CR Conference DVDs, and he made a similar comment in the session I watched last night. He mentioned a time in New Zealand when he was preaching on "The Revival God Wants To Send", when God told him that He didn't want to send revival, because the people weren't ready for it. He then had to figure out what he was going to spend the remainder of his sessions talking about.

He refered to a man you prayed for years that God would send a revival or he would die, and God eventually sent a revival, and he did die from burn out. He really need to count the cost, lest we build the "tower" half way and run out of steam to complete the work.

I find it wiser to pray, "God revive me." If He'd do that for me, and for others, then perhaps He could send a move of God that would remain and bring forth much fruit, as a result. To quote Evan Roberts, "Bend me, Lord."

I think this is the beauty of a place like this. People who come here are generally looking for something that they are lacking in their walk, and if they stick around long enough, God exposes so much to deal with.
