sharing to your Father

I just got the opportunity to talk with my dad. He says that he believes that Jesus died for his sins, but also doesn't believe everything in the bible to be true. He tries to be very open minded to many things such as other cultures and religions. Anywho I was talking to him about my younger brother(he's agnostic) and my younger sister. He shared a bit about not controlling them or pushing them like a horse to the waters, and I shared a bit about how thankful I was in my younger years about how he guided me in disciplining me and what not. He doesn't do that now anymore really and he is just trying to enjoy the rest of his life before he dies. One thing he does to enjoy himself is that he plays of online poker.

Anyways, I was wondering if anybody has had any family stories about sharing to them the truth and what you did. And any encouragement in how to share and stand up for the gospel. Thanks

What do you believe?

Have they seen the Light that shines within you?

If they ask, are you prepared to tell them where your Hope lies and why?

The most powerful thing that you can do is to pray - your Father in Heaven knows the condition of their hearts and has the power to change them.

I will pray for you and for them.

I remeber sharing the gospel with my mom and my mom said this to me " I almost believe" sounds familier, I believe King AGrippa said the same thing. she is a catholic and believes she is saved but her actions declare other wise.....Sad

Act 26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
