sending an angel of death into my bedroom eight years ago to warn me that I was soon about to stand before God to give an account of my life. It sent me into terror and caused me to repent taking every sinful thought captive. And causing me to subdue and put to death the deeds of my sinful nature.

What was your exposure to the gospel before this encounter? On another thread, "Universalism", people were discussing whether God would save those people who never had a chance to hear the gospel, hence the question.
Mind sharing a few more details of what brought about this encounter? I love to hear testimonies of how God saved people....
