To read the life of Samuel Morris it is a note that people like David Brainard are still being raised up by God!!!
I am hoping god will do something like that with my life
He was alive 21 years but his life for christ was amazing.

delta,
Have you ever read a book about Sammy Morris? I think the text is available online. I tried doing a search before posting, but my ISP is currently having problems which discourages surfing/searching. Read it and you will be blessed.(If I find it I will post the link...if this thread is still on the front two pages. Maybe you can find it and post it?)

The trait that characterized Sammy's life was one of submission...a dirty word today among men and women both. Women do not want to submit to their husbands or anyone else; men want to run over anyone who stands in their way of getting what they want: everyone has the problem. What would happen if just a tiny fraction of Christians would be so submitted to God that they will obey with no argument or debate? Methinks this is the problem with modern Christians.

Blessings,
ginnyrose

I found this info on the web...if gives more details...
http://wesley.nnu.edu/wesleyctr/books/0801-0900/HDM0843.PDF

But the one I really wanted I could not find because it has either been removed since I saw it or I just plain failed to see it.

There is a book titled: "Sammy Morris" by A.R. Evans, printed in 1958. It has no copyright that I could find. My husband had a copy given to him in the 50s and I purchased one a few years ago off of ebay. If you do a search there and fail to find one, you can set your 'search' where you will get emails informing you when one is listed.

I promise you it will bless your soul to read about the life of this humble servant of the LORD Jesus.

Blessings,
ginnyrose
