John XXIII: The Ecumenical Pope, But Why?

Who was this man, and why did he commence the ecumenical movement?

I didn't read the whole article, but what I have read is that some believe that this Pope is going to push the ecunimincal movement so as to pull all the religions of the world under the umbrella of the Roman Catholic Church, thus fulfilling the prophesies of a one world religion.

In other words, don't stand up for any particular belief, just bring what you believe and let's all get together in love.

Prov 11:21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

What's amazing about this shrewd Vatican aim - to unite all world religions under their control - is how quickly and how popular this movement has been.

In the UK, nearly all the mainstream churches are involved in "Churches Together."
