Jihad on the church of Ethiopia!

It has been long that Somalia our neighbor had declared Jihad on Ethiopia backed up by 9 Middle East nations. This is carried out by stirring up provinces of Ethiopia that are exclusively Islam. The Southern provinces answered this call and already started their jihad by beheading our brethren there. Recently few kilometers away from my home town Addis Ababa (the capital) Christians while attending church services were burnt alive, beheaded and chopped with machetes and they record themselves as they do it and sent it to us in Addis Ababa as a warning! Please pray for us and especially for the brethren on the provinces they are on the frontline-they have no voice and I intend to become their voice-Pray that we stand strong for the Lord and turn everything to revival! Pray that we wake from our slumbers and fight the battle and win souls amidst this!! Anyone who has a burden please pray for us!!!

i will pray brother, may GOD turn this around and out of it comes a mighty revival who will glorify GOD whit many conversions, help somalia lord, give them strenght and currage and wisdom, give them a revelation of yourself, and i pray there will come a saul from tarsus from thease "muslims" that from all this blood shed there will be a mighty revival, send workers lord, bring up workers lord, the harvest is ready

Let's all seek God on behalf of Ethiopia for these barbaric attacks on the churches.

I know many here are concerned and pray-May God bless you- Bro. Christian thanks for sharing the burden and Mike thanks for the refreshing word of God which is as dew in a desert and for sharing this in prayer-I know you are always there! “enid” I’m also surprised how even our government conceal the matter and no media coverage is given to it. We hear the news from the run away brethren and of course the Jihad video shows it all!

We were discussing the matter with a fellow brother this afternoon that this might be our opportunity to wake up from our sleeps. It is trying times for all of us here but when we perceive it in our spirit it is a window of opportunity to the church here to wake up from her sleep to get startled and examine her way-it is also an opportunity for a revival just like it was for the persecuted disciples of Jesus at Jerusalem all were concentrated at one place unable to identify who has what grace but when the dragging out comes and others fled real evangelists like Philip appear and the Word spread! May God help us to utilize this opportunity! May he help us to stand firm in our faith!!! Pray for me that I face this Goliath in the name of my God!

A dear sister of mine is in Harrar as a missionary. She has sent out some news stories aboutt he situation there. I will continue to pray.

Thank you all for your help and concern. May God help us to stand for his name and kingdom! It seems that the enemy is faster than us- we have to be quick, I feel that I run out of time these days-I wake so late and I think that the things to be done and my (our) pace are not going along so our Father in heaven has to adjust us to the time! God must adjust me!I have to be the man of the hour! Please pray! And “roaringlamp” it surprised me that your missionary sister take that front-Harrar. It is on the south-east of the country and we will really really pray for her. May God bless her soul-I know the place and she took what we dare not to take! May God remember this obscure saints!

Sister Mek, I would covet your prayers for this sister in the Lord. It has been very difficult as she is white, and a female. These two things alone have caused much sorrow. Most of all though she is a Christian, and this has brought much scorn and ridicule. But oh how she loves the people of Ethipoia! I remember when she began to pray about going there, and even recently when she came for a visit how it was so plain to see the burden she had for the people.
Please pray for this sister, and the others that are working in this area, as they are reaching people who are illegal to reach. that is all I am allowed to say, but pray for Somalia.
