--------------------Coveting your prayers for my Mom. (Lynn Balog)They discovered a lesion on her brain. Apparently from what I understand the usual cause is either breast or skin cancer.But it may be benign.It is still early and more tests are being performed. My family tends to put up a good front, so prayers for all would be welcomed. Dad- DavidMom- LynnMe- MeBrother- KennySister- Donna (especially)--------------------Mike I am keeping your mom and your whole family in prayer, also yourself :-D Ephesians 6:18a - And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.Lord Jesus heal his mom, calm his family and use this experience to glory yourself in all of Mike's family members life's. We lift them all before your healing presence Lord.. bring fulness in Jesus name.

My mom (Lynn)will be going in for brain surgery from 9:00 to approx. 1:00 p.m PST tommorow (Friday) to have the lesion removed.I humbly request your prayers.May the Lord continue to work out His will in all our lives.Thank you my friends.Mike

Update.Thanks to all that have prayed for my Mom, I have spoken to some personally already and will fill in here.The surgery went very well yesterday.They removed the lesion/tumor and it is cancerous.The guess right now is from skin cancer.The ramifications and extent at this time are unknown.There was a concern that her speech could be effected because of the location, but I am happy to report that she was cracking jokes shortly afterwards and was doing remarkably well.Certainly the many prayers were of great support.My heart thanks you.

Thanks Chanin.Just got back from a visit.From my Mom to all of you:"Make sure you tell all those guys on that site how much I appreciate their prayers"She also said that there were so many angels in the operating room that the doctors were getting in the way.... :-D

That's some mum you got there Mike. We just received an e-mail from my sister in law. It's been awhile since the last one. According to her own words she's just gone trough the valley of death. Her fight is with bone cancer and it is, it seems a long one. Psa 26:7 That I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, And tell of all thy wondrous works. jouko

She also said that there were so many angels in the operating room that the doctors were getting in the way.... Praise God for the faith He is giving your mother. Surely Gods hand is on this. I am anticipating to hear about a fast recovery! :-)

Mike, it started some 10 years ago with breast cancer and that was beaten but as there wasn't proper testing done afterwards Hilkka developed the bone cancer and has now had it for some years. Thanks for the prayers, she'll appreciate that too.jouko
