Wife's Adultery

P
PrayForMike Nov 20, 2006

My wife has left our four-year-old child and myself for another man. She has moved 250 miles away and she allows us virtually no contact or communication with her. Her partner in adultery lives here in my town, so they see each other every weekend all weekend long. This is time she could spend with her husband reconciling and, more importantly, it's time she could spend just being a mommy. But her lover gets her every weekend. Please simply pray that my wife end that wicked relationship and return home soon, that her mind and heart be filled with good thoughts and memories of our family, and that we both learn from the mistakes we have made. Thank you.

i want to let everybody hear this story

i know a man named PERSON A that has been in the church for 30 years. His wife left him and his two young children for another man and obviously it was very hard on him.

One day in church i seen a different man named PERSON B. PERSON B hadn't been to church in a couple of years as was a backslidden christian. I knew PERSON B from when i was younger so i stopped to testify of God's saving grace in my life and i could discern he had some severe problems. To me this was a good thing because Godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation. As a was testifying to him what God had done in my life, PERSON A walked by us. PERSON B tried an almost desperate attempt to start a conversation with PERSON A. Apparently they had worked together or something. PERSON A somewhat avoided him with short answers and walked along obviously upset about his trials and tribulations over his wife. PERSON B agreed to come to a bible study slightly later in the week. A bible study full of God's power to change lives. Well with a good feeling i left and prayed for the man(i think i prayed anyways.) That night i received a phone call from an elder in our church that knew PERSON B. Well it turns out PERSON B was having the exact same problem as PERSON A. However, he decided to murder the man that was sleeping with his wife. He stabbed him multiple times and turned the knife on himself before the cops hit him with a taser and subdued him.

PERSON A , with his testimony, had the opportunity to help PERSON B when he desperately cried out for attention. PERSON A was too caught up in his own problem to notice this hurting father with 3 children.

The bible says be instant in season, out of season.

Don't let anything stop you. We suffer these tribulations for things we may never understand.

Well i can say all things work to the good of those that love God, that are called according to his purpose.

PERSON B went to jail. And my friend went to go do jail ministry one day. He called his prayer partners and a certain catholic prayer partner lady called him back and told him the holy spirit wanted him to seek out a man on suicide watch. When my friend was at the jail he seen a man with black eyes in solitude in a room. He asked the gaurd why he was their. "Suicide watch" he said. My friend remembered the direction of the spirit and asked if he could minister to him. The answer was "no" because he was an at risk inmate. Well God made a way and as my friend sat down with the at risk inmate he asked him why he was in jail. The inmate replied "murder one." My friends spirit jumped as he remembered that i had asked for prayer for myself, PERSON B, and PERSON B's family. My friend asked the inmate, "Do you know Matt Chenier." PERSON B began sobbing with sorrow. My friend led PERSON B back to christ right there and as far as i know PERSON B is still serving god in jail and when he calls his children always exhorts them to serve God. Now God has a saved man in jail for the rest of his life. Not a dream life. But definitely a dream ministry!!!

ALL THINGS WORK FOR GOOD TO THOSE THAT LOVE GOD

BARE FRUIT IN SEASON OUT OF SEASON PERSON A may have not only converted a sinner from the error of his way and saved one murder from happening, but 5 little children would have a daddy because the PERSON B had 3 kids and the victim of the murder had 2 kids.

Hello PrayForMike...

I am praying for you. I have a friend that is going through a very similar situation. His wife left him after 14 years of marriage to marry a more financially secure man who was older than her father. His wife cheated on him, divorced him, and then married the older man. However, they are now going through a "difficult time" in their marriage.

My friend went through many months of hurt. I spent quite a bit of time praying with and encouraging him. He is now doing much better. I will be praying for you, brother. This is, and may continue to be, a difficult road. But remember -- the Lord will walk this road with you. The Lord knows your needs and hopes. I will also be praying for your wife.

If you ever need anything, feel free to PM us. The Lord bless you and keep you!

:-)

Brother Mike...

I'm praying for you. You're written down on a list I keep in my Bible. You will be before my eyes every morning as I petition the Lord in prayer.
