Words cannot express what is burning in my heart after hearing a true prophet of God speak like that! I am left stunned, breath taken, speechless, astonied, awe struck, confounded and dumbfounded! Oh, that I may know both the goodness and severity of God, that I may serve Him in fear and rejoice with trembling! I believe that this encounter and confrontation with God, through His faithful minister and messenger, has brought me to this goal! Everyone of you who glance at this post, do yourself a tremendous favor, just stop right there in your tracks and let God interrupt your day! You will regret it if you don't. After you hear true, genuine and authentic Christianity, for maybe the first time, you would do yourself and your church a tremendous favor by seeking this man to preach in your pulpit. He's more rare and precious than anything! We need a rude awakening! God, rattle our cage real good! Shake us to the core! This message is shocking, yes, riveting! You need it, and so do I. Lets be brutally honest with ourselves, unrelenting and unsparing! Let's be like Josiah and respond rightly to God's word. Let us be violent in tearing down every high place in our hearts! Let us beat our breast and smite our thigh. Let us gird ourselves with sac cloth and shave our heads and beards! Let's role in the dust and pour the ashes on our heads! Let our laughter turn to mourning, and our joy to heaviness, may we lament and weep and mourn! Howl, oh Church of America! Scream and groan for mercy! Let the weight of this message hit you like a freight train, and may we be staggered by it. Do you want truth? Do you need vital and sobering reality? Then listen to this word straight from the Throne of God! You might not have another chance to hear it like you do right now. Oh God, cause us to shake off our slumber! Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
