When grosser things which men can see are removed from our lives,there is grave danger that we shall be satisfied and forget that still as the Heaven is high above the earth,so high are His ways above our ways,and His thoughts above our thoughts.That there is a finer life,a deeper ,holier peace,a clearer,surer likeness of the Lord possible for His children,needs to be apprehended.And though through all of life we may seem to have been in the melting pot,shall we not say to Him again at any cost,"Dear REFINER,make me what Thou wilt.Refine me by any process that seemeth good unto Thee."
