It was a few months ago that I was looking around on the Net and I came across a very cool looking Keith Green photo. It was one where he was sitting at the piano and I guess it was photoshopped or something, but it had all these colors eminating from the piano. I cant remember where I saw it but I would like to make it my computer wallpaper. If anyone has a clue what I am talking about, please let me know where it can be found.

Hi jamccor...

Are you speaking about this photo? It was contained in the final issue of Last Days Magazine that I ever received (in Nov/Dec 2000).

This painting was by Christian artist Ron DiCianni and is called The Incense of Worship. A large print of this painting was made available for purchase from Last Days Ministries at the time (using an address in the article), but I can't find it available on the Last Days website or Ron DiCianni's website.

There is a larger pdf version of the issue of Last Days Magazine (including the painting) found here. The painting (and article) is found on page 12.

You're welcome, Jamccor...

By the way, the original painting has much more vivid colors. I saved this one "for the web." As a result, the colors were altered a little. I really like this image of Brother Keith Green. However, my favorite photo is from the cover of the Prodigal Son CD. There is also a wonderful photo included in his wife's book (No Compromise) that is taken from above as he sat at the piano during his Tulsa, Oklahoma meetings in the Mabee Center.

It saddens me when I see the condition of Christian music today, compared with the quality of ministry offered so long ago. Then again, I suppose that there is a vast difference between entertainment and ministry. Keith Green was a fine example.

I couldnt agree more about the condition of christian music today. I do not listen to anybody but Keith Green. I am sure there are tons of great artists out there, but if it isnt broke, I dont fix it. That also goes for pastors of old.I very much listen to Ravenhill(Leonard,Paul & David),David Wilkerson and others on this site. I also read mostly sermons by people in the caliber of Finney,Spurgeon and others. I am very much a Ravenhill fan and he had been the only one to ever reach such depths in my soul regarding Jesus that I cannot get enough of him!
