Greetings in Jesus' name brothers and sisters.Today I wanted to post just a brief testimony to tell you of the wonderful moving of God's Spirit that occurred at our Wednesday and Friday night youth service this week. For the past 9 months (since I first came on staff) I have been preaching a hard core message of Revival and Repentance to our young people. In this time we have had many powerful moves of God, but nothing like what occured this past week. I will be honest with you and say that I was not greatly anticipating Wednesday night. There are those weeks when God powerfully impresses a message upon my heart and there is just that mysterious thing known as unction burning in me. This Wednesday, however, was not like that. This week I was not really hearing from the Lord as to what to preach. There were a few scriptures that had been rolling around in my Spirit so before the service I quickly wrote them down and was "hoping for the best". I came into the service really expecting not a whole lot. After announcements were made our worship team got behind their instruments. I began to open in prayer and for some reason I just stopped and asked the young lady who plays the keyboard to pray. All of a sudden she just erupted in this heart breaking prayer of desperation. Through tears she said something like "God I'm so desperate, I can't go on another day without You. I need you so bad." And after about 3 minutes the worship team began to play. You could just feel something rising in the atmosphere. And then I saw one young man who had not attended for a few weeks. He told me before service that he had backslidden very badly and had even been arrested since I last saw him. As the presence of God began to intensify, this young man quickly made his way to the altar and began to cry out to God. I then felt impressed of the Lord that He really desired to pour out His Spirit on us that night, so I called for all who were hungry to make their way to the altar. My wife took over for our keyboard player (because she came to the altar) only to find the keys soaked with her desperate tears. And from then on the Holy Spirit took over. There was an unearthly "roar" of desperation that was coming in unison from their hearts for an hour. That night two young ladies heard what they believe to be angelic voices singing. My wife along with the young lady leading worship heard a keyboard playing even though it was turned off. The Holy Spirit came. Last night at our prayer service it happened again. Friends our GOd is moving!Burning,Jeff
