Now what exactly are we gonna love about this website? :knockedout:

This Phelps fellow seems to hate everyone...he reminds me of that old cynical definition of religion: "The fear that somebody somewhere is happy."

sir you asked:

Now what exactly are we gonna love about this website?

Now let me ask you this:
where can you get links ( :-) ) to such God honoring websites as the "Christian Boylove forum" , the Westboro Baptist Church, whose motto is "God hates you" and the "Angelic Revelations of the Divine Truth"?

where else can you get fifty different websites
with fifty different "gospels", its a veritable smorgasbord of theo-poo.

Feast! Feast!!

(disclaimer: some of the stuff he offers links to are bad, some are not, thats why I said its amusing, yet at the same time depressing)

I am all for 1st Amendment protections of free speech, but cant something be done about the "christian boylove forum"?

It is absolutely satanic over there, they skirt the edges of the law, because they post nothing of a blantantly erotic nature, but they post pictures of boys and wax eloquent about their desires, and THEN they cloak it in hellish broth of blasphemeing and misusing the Name of God.

I know there's no internet "police", but isn't there ANYTHING that can be done?

but isn't there ANYTHING that can be done?

Dan 9:3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

Dan 9:13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.

Should these two things be done more often, boylove forums would still exist, but so would intercessors for the souls therein.

Psa 101:3 I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.

Speaking of smorgasbord, I just saw a portion of the recent CNN special on Christianity (reaired). It was a little daunting to see all of the expressions of Christianity paraded on public television. Obviously CNN was emphasizing the extreme differences and not the similarities between the different 'movements' among churches. I know one of the pastors featured in the special and felt CNN was trying to distill him down to pure controversial concentrate. Still...I suppose he knew what he was in for when he opened his church to their cameras and gave them a tour.

I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless

What a good scripture to keep in front of us...especially in this day of digital deluge where everyone can publish whatever (good or bad) on the internet...anything and everything can be instantly piped into your home!

Blessings,

MC

I know there's no internet "police", but isn't there ANYTHING that can be done?

Recall coming across a "Christians for Cannabis" I believe it was entitled and considering my past life as well as those close that are still entrapped in it ... Wrote a very scathing and yet heart broken reply ... it stirred up just a wealth of emotions and burning anger, indignation ...

I never sent it.

Brother, I don't know, it just doesn't seem to be worth the expenditure to even go towards these things at all. Even the 'discernment ministries' so often fueled by sheer bitterness leave nothing but a disgust and indigestion, no matter what amount of truth they may hold.

Am pretty familiar with Phil's page, he does have quite a bit of useful resources and especially being something of the curator for the Spurgeon Archives. Couldn't say I would agree with all of his particular theology but ...

Had just mentioned this to our brother Paul in Battle Scars of a Satanic Attack

See you found the irony there ... :-)
