Why in the parable of the fig tree, did Jesus curse it? It was not the season for it to bear fruit???

Matthew 21:19 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Yes, it was not the season to bear fruit, however, at the season when he went to the tree it should have had at least a part of the fig which would be edible (it would not be fully ripe) but it only had the leaves, which made it appear to have this part of the fig.

Tree=Israel Leaves=glory Fig=fruit

Having the form of godliness but denying the power there of. Israel had all the outward trappings with no fruit, read the passages before and after, the events surrounding that event.
