Thought police attack

sermonindex Jan 3, 2007

re
please refrain from using such slang terms: "girly mags, naughty net,"

This is a warning. The conversation on these forums should not take away but add to the classic godly sermons available. I appreciate your attention to this.

Greg

Shame on me, I didnt realise you were better thought police than the Lord. Seems to be classic ' Lordly' jezebel hypocracy to me and I am on the way out I perceive.
So long Saints and just remember that our old righteosness is menstrual rags smeared with *____.

Thank you brother Greg for keeping this place pure. I appreciate your openness and obedience to the leading of The Spirit. May the Lord continue to bless you and this ministry.

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world. Philippians 2:15

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 1 Timothy 1:5

follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.II Timothy 2:22

I would not even put JohnJames quote up but these kind of words are just uncalled for here and someone needs to repent soon, it just seems that everyday were all either arguing about different things and now things like this guy has said what in the world is happening here is this place under some sort of satanic attack or is just everyone "including myself" just having some bad hair days. I Love this place it's the only forum I can go to with a total peace and I would love for it to be a place of refuge for me but man I am at a loss at what's happening, and as I have said before this place does have the best mods. of "any" forum I belong to but I guess that they are very graceful also which is a good thing but I know in Gods timing he will work this all out.
God Bless You All Here.
Mr. Bill

Dear Fellow Saints,

The word says:

Col 4:6 Let your speech [be] alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

"grace" means in the Strongs Concordance
1) grace

a) that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness: grace of speech

2) good will, loving-kindness, favour

a) of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues

seasoned means:
1) to prepare, arrange, with respect to food

2) to season, make savory

1) to raise up, elevate, lift up

a) to raise from the ground, take up: stones

b) to raise upwards, elevate, lift up: the hand

c) to draw up: a fish

2) to take upon one's self and carry what has been raised up, to bear

salt means:
1) salt with which food is seasoned and sacrifices are sprinkled

2) those kinds of saline matter used to fertilise arable land

3) salt is a symbol of lasting concord, because it protects food from putrefaction and preserves it unchanged. Accordingly, in the solemn ratification of compacts, the orientals were, and are to this day, accustomed to partake of salt together

4) wisdom and grace exhibited in speech

At all times our conversation should be spoken with a heart of love, never contention or strife. Certainly never as a slap in the face. Jesus is our example who told us to turn the other cheek.

The reason that these types of comments come is because we desperatedly need His love shed abroad in our hearts, then our word would have a life giving preservative quality. What is spoken from a heart of love always brings life even if it is a correction. But is kindness is lacking it will set your teeth on edge.

Jhn 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

That which makes us wince is not from the heart of God. Please let our goal be to build up and not tear down. Please let us only share from a heart of love and compassion with the goal to help and not hurt.

I'm like you Mr. Bill, I follow most threads at a distance and don't get involved unless I see something hurtful to the general health of the body here. Lately I seem to be as though I'm coming down hard on some, but my heart is really for the well being of the whole. I thank God for all the mods and the discernment they exercise. The choice of words JohnJames used does indeed lack grace, and also respect should be exercised toward Greg & God The Holy Spirit since it was inspired in the heart of God and placed into Greg's oversight as one who will someday give account of its use. It could be time for us all to agree to set aside a day for prayer and fasting for this site?
