I thank you for your utmost humility in sharing this with the brothers and sisters on this website. Surely we need to continue to conform ourselves into the image of Christ in all our actions including our speech and writing. I have locked the thread so no other further additions can be made to it. I don't delete threads usually for the one reason that God writes down every word we say and speak in heaven and it will all be brought back to us again in that great "day" of judgement. This soberity of that day where all our words will be brought into account should put into us a healthy "fear" and reverence for God in our speech.
I encourage you to listen to this message:

Thank you again for your honesty in sharing with the body in this thread dear brother.
Thanks. Sorry for stirring things up.
Sorry
Really, if you and I wish to see Muslims (or any sinners) come to Christ, they first need to see Christ in us. Certainly, humility and brokenness is a wonderful step towards hope.
Words remind me of feathers in a pillow. Once the cover is broken and the feathers blow all over, we can’t gather them up again. Once they drift into the minds of others we have no control over them.
Many times, God has used my own public words to convict me. And strangely, I typically only recognize my abrasiveness , or my arrogant and foolish ways of thinking after I press “send”, and then I see my words "out there". Aaugh!!! I appreciate those who have been patient with me as I struggle to grow in maturity and love. “Love covers a multitude of sins.” “Love is patient”
Now, here is an encouraging truth:
“As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. ” Ps. 103:12
With God there is always a way out, provided through Christ. The only “undoing” that works is surrendering ourselves to Christ, accept his forgiveness, and let his New Life grow in and through us. And his love will shine ever brighter. And THAT (ie, He) speaks louder than anything we could say or do.
I say, Let’s go for it!
Diane
