Somebody on another message board recently commented to me in e-mail, that while they found the sermon informative, it seemed more like something you would hear in classroom setting than elsewhere. They said that that while it spoke a lot of things about Christ, that they did not truly meet Jesus in what was shared. Anybody agree, disagree?
Hey Jimmy,I think you did a great job for your first time preaching. You seemed abit nervous but so would I be in the same situation! :-D that while they found the sermon informative, it seemed more like something you would hear in classroom setting than elsewhere.Well in someways that is true it did seem more teaching than preaching. But I believe that comes with practice that over time information about the bible goes from your head to your heart through experience and then becomes more real to you. I think you did have a few places where you were really relaxed and shared well. be encouraged. I was!
