Here I am a new member of Sermondex. Already I feel overwelmed by the magnitude of the site and options. For example what do the URL, IMG,etc options provide?

Anyway, I was born and raised an orthodox Jew in Brooklyn, NY in 1948 as a Levite. My road to Christianity was a remarkable one, and truly a work of G-d's grace. G-od has blessed me with a great insight and understanding of the new testiment due to my background in the old.

I am interested in expanding my knowledge of G-d's kingdom through the information and through comunicating with other's on this site.

Dear Brother,

Those are options for posting weblinks and images in the forum messages. They are things you don't have to worry about until you get more familiarized with the website. I am looking at actually taking off alot of those options in the forums.

It is wonderful that God led you to this website. I do encourage you to spend some time listening to the sermon resources that are available. Some recommended speakers are: Leonard Ravenhill, Zac Poonen, Art Katz, etc.

Thank you for your reply.
I am so greatful to being lead here. My wife told me about the site becuase I was looking for sermons to download on my Ipod. Just being logged in has warmed my heart.

I will down load the recommended sermons and others. Does this site support andy live chats or for security and integrity sake is it limited to these type postings?

God bless and if you can offer any other advice regarding making the most of this wonderful resource it would be a real barucha (blessing).

You are correct the textual communications have been restricted to discussion forums for integrity and also the benefit of perserving edifying conversations that glorify God.

I have subscriber to all the podcasts.. they are being downloaded now. I will also read the items you mentioned to get the most out of this site.

Heh, you may find a lot in common with Art Katz! He was born in Brooklyn, NY, too if I recall correctly, and in 1929 though. He also is a Jew. I really recommend you take a look at his sermons! I can't recommend any in particular off the top of my head, but I'm sure you will be blessed by him :)
